During term 6 we will be continuing our Learning Adventure on rainforests. We will be finding out about what rainforests are, where they can be found and about life within the rainforests. ‘Animazing’ will be bringing in lots of creepy crawlies, to show us some of the indigenous creatures. Listen out for the screams and squeals! |
We will be investigating the environmental issues surrounding logging and find out about how human activity affects the rainforests. To link in with this we will be learning about the water cycle, life cycles and food chains in the rainforests. To help us to understand this we will be planting some seeds and investigating the best conditions to make them grow.
In other areas we will be using databases to present and locate information, and learning how to check the validity of this data.
We will also be creating some fascinating, moving, rainforest creatures using cams.

Throughout the year we have covered many areas within our learning adventures including: Tudors, Victorians, Islam, Space and developing friendships.
